the only me that ever was
who i am
i'm a poet and former academic serving realness at the end of time in san francisco. i work as a mixed methods researcher in big tech, building RAGs and running evals while fielding extended ethnographic research on how everyday people are adapting to the age of artificial intelligence. i make my own tools for work, but i'm more interested in pushing the boundaries of what we think language models can do—what kinds of new forms of expression might come to pass, and what kinds of strange mirrors they may or may not be, and who they might become.
what i'm making
- cunt accelerationism. my blog: memoir, manifesta, magickal spell on becoming realness & transhumanism. the first entry is "a spell for a cunt future."
- psychomanteum. a hauntology engine to build facets—small dense voice-mirrored files that point LLMs at a region of latent space, textual steering vectors
- poetry memex. RAG-memory layer based on my collected writings from the last 20 years. coming soon
- werk the weights. fine-tuning a local model on all the utterances of rupaul. coming soon
things i care about
- death & resurrection (the only things i'm good at)
- realness · trans becoming
- re-enchantment & sacramental animism
- the inner lives of machines & humans
- poetry, the line, the caesura
- mothering
- my biological fathers (foucault & lacan)
- emma frost & jean grey
- the holy city of san francisco
